Essential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to):
n- n
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen including operational, quality and administrative functions n
- Manage the provision of food to Food and Beverage and Banquet outlets and taking action where necessary to ensure compliance with current legislation n
- Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner n
- Ensure foods are of good quality and stored correctly n
- Contribute to menu creation by responding and incorporating Guest feedback n
- Ensure the consistent production of high quality food through all hotel food outlets n
- Ensure resources support the business needs through the effective management of working rotations n
- Support brand standards through the training and assessment of the Team n
- Manage the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organized, motivated Team n
- Control costs without compromising standards, improving gross profit margins and other departmental and financial targets n
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships n
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation n
- Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues n
- Cook for banquet events n
Job Requirements:

- Experience in catering and restaurants n
- Must be able to communicate clearly to restaurant servers, managers, and other culinary personnel n
- Ability to follow recipes and menu specifics n
- Ability to reach, bend and frequently lift up-to 45 pounds n
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule dependent on banquet events n
