This role is vital to the success of our retail stores. As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will work closely with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, answer questions about our products, and provide tailored recommendations. You will also address any customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction, while keeping abreast of product features and maintaining the high standards of our store.

Your responsibilities will include enhancing customer experiences, contributing to the store's sales goals, and fostering strong relationships with our customers.

Since this position involves customer interaction and management of cash and valuable items, we conduct a review of criminal history to protect our business and our community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist customers in-person and via phone to understand their needs
  • Build strong trust-based relationships with customers
  • Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies
  • Achieve sales goals regularly
  • Manage precise work order documentation
  • Retrieve and pull appropriate products from inventory
  • Mix and tint products to meet specific customer requirements
  • Stock shelves and create attractive product displays
  • Maintain cleanliness of store equipment
  • Assist with loading/unloading deliveries as needed
  • Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and orderly
  • Stay informed about product offerings to provide customers valuable insights
  • Follow inventory control procedures
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least eighteen (18) years old
  • Authorization to work legally in the country without sponsorship
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
  • If you're an internal candidate, you must have achieved at least a meets expectations (3) rating in your last performance review
  • Completion of all required HR training courses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in customer service or retail
  • Experience with paint and paint products is a plus
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment
  • Multilingual ability is highly valued, especially in Spanish
