Job Responsibilities:- Delivering high-quality nursing care to post-acute residents
- Monitoring and reporting on residents' health conditions to the nursing team
- Measuring and documenting basic vital signs
- Assisting residents with grooming, feeding, toileting, and other daily living activities
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment by following hygiene best practices
- Transporting residents within the facility and assisting with movement as needed
- Engaging with residents to provide comfort and build trust
- Following and adhering to care plans, rules, regulations, and policies
- Facilitating communication among staff, residents, and their families
- Must have a current Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Familiarity with medical terminology and nursing procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and social skills
