Job Responsibilities- Providing exceptional nursing care to post-acute residents
- Monitoring resident health and updating the nursing team on their conditions
- Documenting vital signs accurately
- Assisting residents with grooming, feeding, toileting, and other daily living activities
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment by adhering to hygiene best practices
- Transferring residents around the facility and assisting with mobility as needed
- Building trusting relationships with residents through daily interactions
- Following care plans and complying with all relevant regulations and policies
- Facilitating effective communication among staff, residents, and their families
- Current Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Familiarity with medical terminology and nursing procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
