Job Title: Quality Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support both new product launches and ongoing production. This role plays a key part in ensuring product and process quality through structured problem-solving, APQP practices, and customer engagement.

Establish inspection methods, acceptance criteria, and sampling plans for outsourced components

Own and manage PPAP submissions for new parts and engineering changes

Resolve quality issues using 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma methods

Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams, PFEMAs, and Control Plans
n n - n
Apply GD&T and perform dimensional stack-up analysis to improve manufacturability
n n - n
Evaluate and disposition non-conforming material; drive corrective and preventive actions
n n - n
Support and train quality technicians on inspection techniques and customer requirements
n n - n
Maintain gage management systems including Gage R&R

Initiate and implement improvements to inspection and manufacturing procedures
n n - n
Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
n n - n
Utilize quality tools and statistical software to drive data-based decisions (Minitab preferred)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience with PPAP, Control Plans, PFEMAs, and APQP

n Familiarity with root cause tools (8D, fishbone, etc.) n - n
Strong floor presence and hands-on approach
