Job Summary:
nn

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading all manufacturing engineering and maintenance functions. You’ll oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. A key part of the role includes managing the maintenance department and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Responsibilities:

    Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff

  • n

    Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, safety, and quality

  • n
  • n

    Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate new products and technologies into manufacturing

  • n

    Evaluate and improve existing processes using lean, Six Sigma, and other best practices

    n
  • n
  • n

    Track manufacturing KPIs such as cycle time, scrap rates, and equipment uptime

    n
  • n
  • n

    Oversee preventive maintenance and repair for all production equipment

    n
  • n
  • n

    Work closely with equipment vendors during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting

    n
  • n
  • n

    Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

  • n
  • n

    Manage vendor relationships and technical resources

    n
  • n
  • n

    Control and manage the engineering and maintenance budgets

Qualifications:

    n
  • n

    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s a plus)

    n
  • n
  • n

    At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the automotive industry

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience managing maintenance teams, systems, and preventive maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment

    n
  • n
  • n

    Deep understanding of manufacturing processes for powertrain and electric vehicle components

    n
  • n
  • n

    Skilled in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement techniques

    n
  • n
  • n

    Proven leadership in managing teams and cross-functional project execution

    n
  • n
  • n

    Strong analytical, communication, and project management abilities

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience with CAD and manufacturing software

    n
  • n
  • n

    Knowledge of automotive industry standards and safety protocols
