About the Role:

As an MEP Project Engineer , you will support the coordination, installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on large-scale data centre projects. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, you'll ensure technical excellence, compliance, and timely delivery across all mission-critical MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate MEP design, procurement, and installation activities with consultants and subcontractors
  • Review construction drawings, submittals, and shop drawings for technical accuracy
  • Manage RFI processes and track MEP-related change orders
  • Support field supervision during system installations and testing
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications
  • Collaborate during Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and commissioning phases
  • Assist in developing QA/QC protocols and punch list management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
  • 2-6 years of experience in MEP construction, ideally in data centres, hospitals, labs, or similar mission-critical environments
  • Familiarity with NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA codes
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with BIM/Revit and construction management software is a plus
