Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated CDL B Driver who is passionate about delivering excellent service. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of containers to customer locations, ensuring customer satisfaction while promoting a positive rapport. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers at customer locations, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct thorough daily pre and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift equipment. Accept additional delivery tasks as required to meet business needs. Utilize a company-provided handheld device for delivery verification and navigation purposes. Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed. Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are in top condition for delivery. Coordinate rental paperwork and payment processes with customers. Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues, and document notes as necessary. Perform minor repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center. Provide support for storage center operations when required. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of the truck cab. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations. Management & Supervisory Responsibilities: This position typically reports to management, with direct oversight from the Market Manager or Territory Manager. Does not directly manage other employees. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess a valid CDL Class B License (without air brake restriction). Maintain a current and valid driver’s license. Must meet company Driver Qualification Standards. Age requirement: Must be at least 21 years old (for insurance purposes). Must have or be able to obtain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT requirement). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Basic math skills needed to perform essential tasks. Ability to attend and complete a mandatory 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program. Benefits:
