Starting at $23 per hour Key Details Hours: Guaranteed 30 hours per week, 6 hours per school day throughout the regular school year (RSY) Availability Requirement: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $23 per hour Location: Various schools Individual Assignment Duration: Coverage Behavioral Support Interventionist will maintain a minimum 30-hour per week schedule, with assignments varying from 1 to 30+ days based on needs Reporting Location: If no coverage is assigned, report to Intercare's Behavioral Health Centers for essential non-coverage functions Position Overview: Join our dedicated team as a Coverage Behavioral Support Interventionist at Intercare Therapy. This vital floating position ensures our students receive consistent quality care when Behavior Interventionists are absent, while working in various school districts in the Greater Los Angeles area. Supervisor, School Services and Vice President, Post Launch Operations Accountable to:

Coverage assignments from Care Coordinators, Supervisor, School Services, and Case & Launch Planners Direct Therapy and Administrative Responsibilities: Implement Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) with classroom teachers Provide personalized behavioral support tailored to student needs Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods to address specific behavioral challenges Assist students during transitions, meals, and daily activities Facilitate recreational activities and support off-campus trips Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and behavior Respond effectively to emergency situations using Nonviolent Crisis Intervention techniques Establish clear communication with supervisors and staff Deliver high-quality services by following necessary protocols, including administrative and payroll-related tasks Requirements: 2+ years of experience in behavioral intervention or special education Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices CPI certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to travel up to 35 miles one-way Reliable transportation Excellent communication and documentation skills Physical ability to support students in various activities Flexibility to adapt to diverse school environments and student needs Travel Requirements: This position requires travel to various school locations; candidates must: Be willing to commute up to 35 miles one-way Have reliable transportation Be adaptable to different school environments Demonstrate flexibility with various teams Benefits: Guaranteed hours Competitive hourly rate Opportunities for professional development A supportive team environment Chance to make a meaningful impact on students across multiple schools
