AdventHealth Connerton Specialty hospital for medically complex patients Pulmonary and Vapotherm Center of Excellence Staff consists of all Registered Respiratory Therapists, 65% BSN or above RNs, Current staff certifications include CCRN, PCCN, CNML, WCNC, NEA-BC, and RN-BC Onsite BSN completion program partnership with South University with staff discounted rate Simulation Lab and Clinical Transition Pilot Program Free prep courses for national certifications Robust atmosphere for Clinicals - partnerships with multiple nursing, pharmacy, therapy and respiratory schools Preceptorship and residencies for Respiratory and Nursing Opportunities to participate and lead in culturally diverse programs (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Employee Activity Committee, Spiritual Ambassadors) Open-door campus culture promoting direct relationships with leadership and c-suite Full time chaplain on staff Team Member rewards and recognition programs including Daisy (RN), Employee of the Quarter, Phil (Respiratory), Service Awards, TWCE as Nice The role youll contribute: The Assistant Nurse Manager supervises and coordinates patient care delivery on the assigned nursing units and is accountable for meeting standards. Supports the unit by planning, directing, and evaluating all nursing service functions and activities to ensure delivery of quality patient care and organizational effectiveness. Completes concurrent chart audits to ensure charting within the EMR is complete, accurate, and specific to the patients diagnosis, plan of care, and core measures. Ensures errors and omissions are corrected promptly. Coordinates staff educational needs. Achieves operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans, preparing and completing action plans, implementing standards, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, and implementing improvements. The value youll bring to the team: Communicates courteously with internal and external customers. Develops positive relationships with all departments. Educates and ensures accountability of all Patient experience tactics. Participates in daily rounding for outcomes. Promotes and validates AIDET and TWCE compliance. Qualifications The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Minimum of five+ years acute care nursing experience or two years with prior leadership experience in a team leader role. Current valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Professional Nurse license. BLS, ACLS certifications.
