As the Senior Manager for Global Supply Chain, you will be responsible for leading a team of supply chain professionals and driving strategic initiatives in support of the C Speed portfolio with a customer focused mindset. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our supply chain, leveraging your expertise to drive continuous improvement and accelerate business results. Additionally, you will be actively engaged to manage high-value procurement activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures and government regulations. This role plays a critical part in optimizing supplier performance, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of material and services for commercial and government customers.
Job Duties
· Develop and implement supply chain strategies in support of the business leadership initiatives that bring value to both the company and to the customer, improving supplier performance, achieving cost savings, managing supplier relationships while strengthening regulatory compliance throughout the procurement process.
· Develop and manage the procurement cycle: Preparing and issue Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotes (RFQ), evaluating proposals/quotes, source selection with evaluation criteria and issuing Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO), purchase order closeout.
· Manage all aspects of global supplier performance, including quality, cost, technical and schedule
· Negotiate pricing, contractual terms and lead times
· Monitor and perform Earned Value analysis of supplier costs and schedules to ensure contract compliance and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
· Maintain accuracy of purchasing documents and data including procurement files in accordance with policies and procedures and for audits and reporting.
· Mentor and support procurement staff, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.
· Supports cost reduction initiatives, engineer change activity and program meetings of a matrixed organization to ensure alignment on key performance indicators
· Comply with all applicable FAR/DFARS, commercial regulations and company policies, and lead efforts to establish and develop new polices based on industry best practices.
· Develop procurement strategies to support capacity expansion, including new products for all external suppliers spend categories
Requirements:
· 5+ years relevant experience in procurement/supply chain role
· 7+ years of experience with a government contractor manufacturing company
· Proven Strong vendor relationship and performance
· Proven Operational Execution of sourcing strategy, project planning, analytics, negotiations, contract administration
· DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS) and ITAR compliance
· Earned Value Management Experience
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
· Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required.
· Experience with small business subcontracting plans and reporting.
