Job Description: Our client is currently searching for an experienced Project Manager to support Transportation Initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience managing large-scale projects and programs. This individual should be a natural leader with strong coordination and delegation skills, motivated to collaborate, drive execution, and see projects through from inception to completion.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business leaders to develop project plans, identify initiative milestones, interdependencies, and related communications
Maintain organizational standards for satisfaction, quality, and performance
Partner with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and fellow project managers to define scope, deliverables, resources, timelines, budgets, and work plans
Manage project teams to ensure alignment with program goals and timelines
Take accountability for delivering on established business goals and objectives
Identify interdependencies, risks, and opportunities across projects
Analyze and mitigate program risks; develop and present status reports to stakeholders and management
Basic Qualifications:
5–7 years of progressive experience in project and program management
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in PMI, Prosci (Change Management), and Lean Six Sigma highly desirable
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability in public speaking, facilitation, problem-solving, analytical thinking, multi-tasking, time management, leadership, and organization
