Field Application Engineer
will learn and grow their technical knowledge by being the technical support to customers. Will work in close alignment with the sales and product management teams. Assess potential application of products and offer solutions that meet customer needs. Research and present reports to potential customers showing the cost benefit of purchasing Littelfuse products. This individual will be the lead in providing technical and direct support to west coast customers, in addition to supporting east coast and southern U.S. customers as needed. This is a hybrid position with flexibility to work remotely. This role does not offer sponsorship and requires candidates to be either U.S. citizens or green card holders. About the Job: Identifies sales opportunities by working closely with sales team and providing technical knowledge. Creates reports on customer technical requirements, costing, feasibility, and risks. (45%)
Serves on an after sales cross-functional team (product management, sales, technical marketing), focusing on new product launch. Serves as the technical expert translating the customer requirements into design needs. (40%)
Partners closely with the product management team to identify any technical changes due to market changes, new technology, partnerships, or customer requirement. (10%)
Serves as part of an after sales cross-functional team, focusing on new product launch. (5%)
Other duties as assigned.
About You: Bachelor or university degree in Electrical Engineering or related
Fresh grad with Coursework in power semiconductor or related
Ability to travel within the U.S. to interface with customers
Advanced knowledge in MS Office
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail
