Accounting/HR Assistant
to join our client's team in a dynamic position that is 50% accounting and 50% human resources. This is an immediate opening with a company known for its outstanding culture and long employee tenure. Turnover is minimal-team members often become "lifers" here!
Key Responsibilities of the Accounting/HR Assistant:
Accounting (50%) The Accounting/HR assistant will process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Support monthly reporting and reconciliation processes
Utilize Excel regularly-must be comfortable with formulas and
IF statements
Human Resources (50%) Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time
The Accounting/HR Assistant will maintain and update the employee database
Assist with onboarding of new hires and support other HR functions as needed
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting/HR Assistant:
Associate degree in Accounting OR equivalent recent accounting experience
Previous HR experience OR a strong desire to grow in HR responsibilities
Strong Excel skills, including working knowledge of
IF statements
The Accounting/HR Assistant must have the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
