About the Role: The Maintenance Worker plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. This position involves performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks to uphold building standards and provide a comfortable environment for guests and staff. The Maintenance Worker will address repair needs promptly, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep. Ultimately, the Maintenance Worker contributes to the overall guest experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning facility. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in building maintenance within commercial or hospitality environments Basic carpentry skills and knowledge of commercial building systems. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to ensure operational efficiency. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize impact on facility operations and guest satisfaction. Conduct repairs and replacements of fixtures, furniture, and structural components within commercial buildings. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and work orders to support facility management and compliance. Collaborate with management and external contractors to coordinate larger repair projects and ensure adherence to safety standards. Skills: The required skills in building maintenance, commercial building knowledge, and carpentry are essential for daily tasks such as inspecting facilities, performing repairs, and ensuring structural integrity. These skills enable the Maintenance Worker to efficiently troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions that maintain operational continuity. Preferred skills like HVAC, electrical, and plumbing certifications enhance the ability to address a wider range of maintenance challenges independently.
