Sidney is positioned for continued economic growth along the I-75 corridor in west-central Ohio, serving as a major route of commerce from Canada to Florida. Operation and maintenance of its own wellfield and water treatment facilities
Full wastewater collection and treatment

Shared county-city demand response transit service
Municipal court administration
A fully staffed Information Technology Department providing services to Shelby County

Fiscal conservative and effective steward of taxpayer funds
Strong economic development skills and experience

Transparent and honest in dealings with all stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
5-8 years of successful local government experience, including finance, economic development, utilities, public works, safety services
Employment Conditions & Compensation Residency within six months preferred; relocation expenses negotiable. The position offers a three-year contract with a starting salary range of $160,000-$210,000 plus benefits. All candidates will undergo background checks, drug screening, and employment physicals.
