The

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading a finance team of five, fostering professionalism and teamwork.

Managing the transit agency's financial activities, analyzing revenues and expenses, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

Developing and implementing financial policies for long-term fiscal health and accountability.

The

EXPECTATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in finance, public administration, or related field; CPA preferred.

At least ten years of progressive experience in public finance or accounting, preferably in transit.

High ethical standards and proven leadership skills.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Excellent references and a commitment to public service.

The

BENEFITS

Salary: $120K to $130K, based on experience.

Comprehensive insurance: health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability.

Retirement: OPERS with SARTA contributing 24% of pay.

Holidays: 5 plus additional days for anniversaries, birthdays, and New Year’s.

PTO: 19 days after the first year up to four years.

Relocation allowance available.
