Director, Strategic Partnerships and Workforce Solutions
is responsible for partner development and workforce solution initiatives nationally, as well as building and overseeing the team that develops employer partnerships and workforce pipelines in assigned markets. This role aims to expand the University's reach through strategic collaborations addressing workforce needs. A flexible schedule is necessary to support partner engagement, team leadership, and relationship management across time zones. The Director should expect to travel approximately 50% of the time for meetings, industry events, and regional initiatives. Occasional evening or early morning availability may be required. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred. At least 7 years of experience in business development, workforce solutions, or relationship management, preferably in education, training, or healthcare sectors. At least 5 years of experience leading teams. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Comfortable balancing remote and in-person work to drive results and relationships. Proven success in building strategic partnerships. Experience working with organizational executives. Ability to identify partnership opportunities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Track record of leading teams to meet KPIs. Interpersonal skills for developing relationships with partners and university staff. High ethics, integrity, and confidentiality. Self-motivated and proactive. Excellent communication and organizational skills. PAY: Compensation depends on qualifications and experience, with a salary range of $104,000 to $140,000. Benefits include tuition waiver, health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Partnership Development Identify and maintain partnerships aligning with university growth. Lead contracting for partnerships. Collaborate with senior leadership on system-wide opportunities. Build trusted relationships with partners, focusing on workforce outcomes. Establish programmatic goals with KPIs. Expand existing partnerships and identify new opportunities. Build relationships across university teams. Advocate for customer needs and support operational teams. Partnership Team Management Manage and develop Partner Engagement Managers. Ensure client retention and satisfaction. Set goals and develop initiatives with team members. Report team success and customer feedback. Support team in generating and closing opportunities. Assess market and competition for strategic shifts. Other duties as assigned.
