Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Role Purpose
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive
Scrum Master / Kanban Master
to support the Agile execution of the
Trident Project
within the Optical Communications Division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on enabling teams, removing impediments, and ensuring smooth delivery through Agile frameworks. You’ll work closely with our Agile Coach to align with organizational standards and continuously improve team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile Delivery
Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Ensure consistent flow and delivery using Scrum and Kanban practices tailored to the Trident Project
Track and visualize work progress using Planview AgilePlace
Support Team Performance
Foster a collaborative, transparent, and accountable team environment
Identify and remove blockers to maintain team momentum
Encourage continuous improvement through feedback loops and retrospectives
Align with Agile Standards and Best Practices
Collaborate with the Agile Coach to ensure alignment with Agile practices
Apply Agile principles consistently while adapting to the team’s context and maturity
Promote Agile values across the team and stakeholders
Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders
Align team activities with project goals and business priorities
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support delivery
Required Experiences
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Kanban facilitator in a technical or data-driven environment
Familiarity with Agile delivery in manufacturing or infrastructure-related projects is a plus
Hands-on experience with Planview AgilePlace or similar Agile tools
Desired Skills
Deep understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks
Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

The range for this position is $116,625.00 - $160,360.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
