Saint Luke's Health System Saint Luke’s in Kansas City is seeking a Lead Accomodation Partner to join our team. This role will give you the opportunity to lead complex accommodation case management and drive workplace solutions through collaboration, expert guidance, and direct impact on employee well-being. Responsibilities include managing complex accommodation requests (ADA, PWFA, religious, leave, job reassignment, medical separation), overseeing full case lifecycle from intake to closure, facilitating the Interactive Process (IP) in alignment with state/federal laws and internal policies, training, mentoring, and advising Disability & Leave Management (DLM) team members, providing case support and oversight in absence of other partners, balancing team workloads and serving as overflow support, collaborating with team members, leaders, HR, legal, vendors, and medical providers, educating leaders and employees on accommodation processes and outcomes, maintaining regular contact with all parties throughout the IP, analyzing job functions and recommending accommodations (temporary/permanent), coordinating return-to-work and transitional work plans, facilitating reassignment or recommending medical separation when needed, monitoring effectiveness of accommodations, ensuring accurate and timely case documentation in system, preparing medical provider correspondence and collecting necessary documentation, supporting audit, compliance, and reporting efforts, providing timely, accurate, and compassionate responses, serving as escalation point and trusted advisor to leaders and team members, contributing to workflow optimization and standard process development, adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and using strong interpersonal and analytical skills to resolve conflicts and influence outcomes.
