Yes Job Description: Demos Consultants is seeking an experienced Employment & Labor Associate to join its client's Newark office. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in employment and labor legal work, assisting with the defense of employment claims and providing HR support. This is an opportunity to join a top-ranked Employment and Labor Practice Group that offers a full spectrum of management-side employment services. Required Skills and Experience: Defending employment claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and restrictive covenant matters. Handling trade secret prosecution and defense in state and/or federal courts or before government agencies. Providing human resource support and employment counseling. Experience in traditional labor law and/or ERISA matters is a plus. Experience: 3-7 years working with employment and labor matters. Qualifications: Admitted to practice in NY and NJ. Strong legal research, drafting, and writing abilities. Excellent analytical and verbal communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
