We are looking for an experienced Trial Attorney with a proven track record in nursing home/elder-abuse/medical-neglect litigation. You will handle your caseload from discovery through verdict, collaborating with paralegals, experts, and partners to achieve exceptional outcomes. This position is ideal for courtroom warriors ready to lead trials, with minimal pre-litigation work. Responsibilities
Manage all litigation phases: pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial prep Develop case strategies, coordinate medical and economic experts, and create compelling trial presentations Lead depositions, jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations Coordinate in-court logistics and team roles Serve as primary counsel for elder abuse and nursing home negligence cases, maintaining client communication Provide compassionate guidance through complex legal and medical issues Collaborate on case strategies, settlement negotiations, and appeals Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to training initiatives Engage in community outreach and create content on elder neglect topics Represent the firm at legal associations and continuing education events Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active South Carolina Bar membership in good standing Minimum 3 years of trial experience in nursing home neglect, elder abuse, or personal injury Proven record of verdicts or high-value settlements (preferably six- or seven-figure cases) Exceptional advocacy skills in writing and oral argument Ability to independently manage a full, trial-ready docket Details
