About the Position We’re seeking a highly creative and experienced Category Designer to join our team in San Juan Capistrano. This hybrid role blends graphic artistry with accessory design sensibility- ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to craft compelling products that align with our brand values, aesthetics and company vision. You will contribute to the full lifecycle of product creation- from trend research and concept development through final production- across apparel and accessories. This role demands both technical design knowledge and a strong visual sensibility to bring seasonal collections to life. Responsibilities: ● Develop graphics, textiles, and repeat patterns from concept to vendor-ready artwork, with strong attention to brand identity and seasonal direction. ● Research global markets, fashion trends, silhouettes, fabrics, and techniques to inform design concepts and fuel creativity. ● Create tech packs and artwork specifications, including fit callouts, trims, color, wash, and application techniques. ● Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Designers, Merchandising, Production, Tech Design, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing to ensure consistent execution from concept to retail. ● Translate trend boards and design vision into meaningful graphics tailored to our customer. ● Organize and maintain project libraries, archive graphics by season/concept, and keep files up to date and production-ready. ● Troubleshoot prototypes, revise designs based on fit sessions or vendor feedback, and contribute to multiple seasonal pipelines simultaneously. Salary Range $65,000- $75,000 annually, depending on experience. This is a full-time role with benefits. Timing, Location, Contact We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.
