Summary :
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Digital Marketing and Communications Strategist is responsible for developing and executing external marketing and communication campaigns using digital and social media channels to support the overall marketing and business goals.
Essential Functions :
Supports multiple firm-wide marketing and communications programs, campaigns, and tactics designed to raise awareness of CWA's services, methodologies, and capabilities to generate new leads.
Serves as the lead campaign strategist, multimedia content creator, and developer.
Creates copy, schedules, manages timelines, and initiates execution in support of marketing campaigns and business initiatives.
Supports and helps develop the firm's overall digital strategy through the execution of digital communications, including website management, visual creative and video production, monthly newsletters, emails, events, and paid and owned digital and social media.
Contributes to content development, copywriting, and editing for external communications, maintaining knowledge of industry, competitive, and firm practices to recommend new content, campaigns, and digital tactics.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining brand standards across the firm.
Collaborates with agencies, contractors, affiliates, and business partners to ensure compliance with style, voice standards, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities :
Manages day-to-day project tasks such as proofreading, copywriting, editing, and collateral updates.
Acts as the point of contact for content updates via agency partners and the website content management system (WordPress).
Develops and executes HTML email marketing campaigns to nurture prospects using the firm's Marketing Automation Tool (Pardot).
Manages email list segmentation across multiple platforms.
Tracks and reports campaign analytics using CRM (Salesforce) and MAT (Pardot).
Creates and automates email and blog content for monthly newsletters and campaigns.
Provides creative and digital support for campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team, digital agency, and firm's leadership.
Analyzes website traffic and social media campaign performance.
Works with sales teams, agency partners, vendors, and freelancers, and collaborates with SMEs to develop content that aligns with the brand voice.
Must Have :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Minimum of five years' experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or advertising.
Practical knowledge of email engagement programs, digital and social media, including planning, copywriting, managing, and executing digital campaigns.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to edit basic HTML and proficiency with website content management systems (WordPress), email marketing, and marketing automation tools.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
Familiarity with AP Style.
Experience with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and social media platforms.
Creative, deadline-driven, organized, and detail-oriented.
Experience in marketing within the financial sector.
