Quality Receiving Technician will be responsible for incoming raw ingredients and materials. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills because they will have to work with different departments. Must be a self-starter; be attentive to detail, creative, organized, enthusiastic to contribute to the team, and

**able to work weekends

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming raw materials and ingredients for quality and integrity. Coordinate with Product Supply Department for the incoming raw materials and ingredients Put damaged raw materials and ingredients on hold both in the system and visually. Fill out Hold reports for any unacceptable raw materials and ingredients. Perform investigation on raw materials and ingredients that were placed on hold. Report to FSQ Manufacturing Supervisor for any special duties or samples she/he may require. Pull samples of raw materials and ingredients when needed. Distribute set of corrugate samples to Quality Coordinators and Purchasing Department Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Skills and Abilities:

Minimum Qualification:

High School Diploma Three years' experience with quality related standards in a food manufacturing environment. Exhibits understanding and concern for product quality and food safety. Physical Activity:

Regularly sit, stand, walk, and move about. Occasionally squat, bend, kneel, climb, reach overhead, push/pull/lift/carry 50 lbs.

Additional Compensation - Bonus Potential:

You will be eligible to participate in the Gehl Food & Beverage Bonus Program for non-exempt employees. Under this Program, quarterly and annual bonus payouts are based on achievement of targeted production numbers. Gehl Foods, LLC reserves the right to change the Bonus Program at anytime, without notice.

Working Conditions:

Frequently exposed to wet and varying temperature conditions between 60-130 degrees Fahrenheit, loud noise, vibration, moving machinery/electrical parts, risk of electrical shock, airborne particles, high/precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, allergens including soy, milk and milk by-products and fumes from food processing equipment.
