San Diego, CA . This role is for a client-focused engineer with solid technical skills to provide post-sales support for our enterprise software solutions. BIOVIA, a brand of
DASSAULT SYSTEMES , supports industries and organizations that rely on scientific innovation to differentiate themselves. Our customer base includes the world’s largest pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biologics, medical device, and contract manufacturing/research organizations. This role primarily involves handling support requests from customers needing assistance with our commercial enterprise software products. Our support model allows engineers to work directly with customers, providing technical support for post-deployment issues. BIOVIA Customer Success Engineers play a vital role in our customers' success by responding promptly to service requests, documenting updates in management tools, and collaborating with R&D to improve software quality. To succeed, applicants must be excellent communicators in English, eager to learn, analytical, and customer-oriented. Ultimately, you will uphold our reputation for providing excellent product support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a Life Sciences-related field is preferred. 3-4 years of experience delivering technical support for enterprise software. A problem solver with a strong desire for customer-facing roles. Ability to work independently or in small teams. Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: BIOVIA products, life sciences, or laboratory domain experience. SQL scripting and Oracle Database administration. Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory. Web servers, networking technologies like Apache Tomcat or IIS with SSL/TLS. TCP/IP networking, load balancers, routers. Citrix XenApp or similar virtualization software. Compensation ranges from
