Logistics and Inventory Specialist
is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate shipment of customer orders, processing outbound and inbound transactions through the ERP system, and maintaining precise inventory records. This role involves coordinating both domestic and international shipments with carriers such as FedEx and UPS, handling all related documentation, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in logistics and ERP systems. Job Responsibilities: Coordinate and process all outgoing shipments accurately in the ERP system to ensure on-time delivery to customers Create shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation for domestic and international shipments Receive incoming material receipts accurately in the ERP system and verify against purchase orders; document discrepancies when applicable Manage accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and inventory adjustments Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with appropriate departments Assist in maintaining proper labeling and barcoding systems for materials to improve inventory accuracy. Prepare shipments in compliance with customer, regulatory, or industry-specific packaging requirements Ensure that packing slips, invoices, and any other required documentation are included with each order. Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and dispatched using appropriate shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS). Assist in identifying areas for improvement within the inventory control and shipping/receiving processes. Propose solutions to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline workflows. Perform other duties as assigned. Perform duties to AS/ISO and applicable accounting procedures and regulations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Excellent history of attendance and on time performance. Proven experience in inventory control, shipping, receiving, or related field. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50lbs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
