Certified Project Manager III
for our premier client in
Madison, Wisconsin . Education And Experience » 5+ years of Project Management, 3+ years of Project Program Management. A client service mindset with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and escalate issues to relevant parties. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with project managers/leads to provide project management expertise and support. Experience working in and leading an organization going through consolidation, reorganization, or merger. Top Skills (3) & Years of Experience: 3-5 years Superior communication, presentation, and organization skills. Executive level presentation creation and delivery. Ability to work cross organizationally to deliver services to Enterprise clients. Nice to Have: Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with transformations and mergers amongst business units and organizations. What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate functional and sometimes cross-functional teams in defining project goals, deliverables, milestones, resources, budget, and schedule. Manage execution of thrive projects, exercising organizational, leadership, and management skills to deliver projects successfully. Deliver key messages regarding all project initiatives within the program(s). Direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis. Provide timely and accurate communications to stakeholders, including overall status, health, and business benefits tracking for projects. Lead project teams in developing, implementing, and applying standard processes for risk management, issue management, quality assurance, project delivery, financial management, and project communications. Facilitate and contribute to continuous improvement of a standard PM methodology including, but not limited to, project execution, approval, and reporting. Apply structured Change Management methods to projects and lead change management activities, including stakeholder assessment, communication, training/coaching, and resistance management. Champion change and innovation by socializing a forward-thinking portfolio of projects and roadmap. Mentor and train business team members to build consistent project delivery and change management practices throughout DPM.
