The Finance Project Leader is a key member of the finance organization, responsible for leading financial projects, systems integrations, and cross-functional initiatives. This role is focused on driving process improvements, enhancing financial tools, and supporting strategic initiatives that enable better decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills, financial insight, and the ability to work collaboratively with both finance and operational teams. Accuracy, integrity, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines are essential. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS Lead and coordinate finance-driven projects, including capital planning initiatives, systems integrations, and reporting enhancements. Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems, tools, and processes. Partner with functional leaders to align project goals with financial objectives, ensuring visibility and accountability across teams. Develop financial models and reporting frameworks to support strategic projects and capital initiatives. Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications for finance-related projects. Coordinate data consolidation and ensure data consistency across business units during system or process transitions. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration on process improvement efforts, cost tracking, and automation opportunities. Contribute to long-range planning and scenario analysis to inform investment decisions and resource allocation. Provide finance support for change management initiatives related to tools, reporting structures, and integration efforts. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA or relevant Master’s a plus). 5–8 years of experience in finance or project management roles. Proven experience leading financial projects, system implementations, or process improvement initiatives. Strong understanding of capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Anaplan, NetSuite, SAP, or other ERP/reporting systems). Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Comfortable working with large data sets and synthesizing information across departments. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously. " Unifi
