Position Overview
As Growth Marketing Manager, you will play a leadership role in driving marketing adoption for Pivotal’s eVTOL aircraft. The essence of this position is activating and developing prospects into qualified marketing leads for handoff to Pivotal Sales. This role is highly strategic and operational, with primary responsibility for customer conversion based on content, website development, paid media, campaign execution, and funnel management. Data-driven decision making and creative problem solving are two key success factors for this position.
Partnering with marketing team members specializing in PR, events, social media, product marketing, and marketing automation, your role is critical to all phases of customer acquisition. A close relationship with sales, incorporating their input into campaign design and execution as well as marketing communications is also key. As a startup, Pivotal is looking for an innovator with a mindset of continuous testing, learning, and agile adaptation of marketing programs. The position requires both B2C and B2B marketing skills, based on the need to reach and convert customers in consumer, public service, and defense markets.
Responsibilities
Growth strategy development: collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to align marketing efforts with business objectives; analyze our current sales and marketing pipeline and continuously adapt marketing programs to meet our corporate sales goals Integrated marketing: based on ROI analysis, define and manage the optimal channel mix that enables all marketing disciplines to build on each other Content creation: write and produce content to drive engagement on the Pivotal website, social, event, paid, and campaign channels; includes explainers, pilot profiles, and thought leadership Website design: define and execute the website roadmap to drive customer activation with content through a series of micro-conversions Automated email campaigns: produce drip campaigns to convert leads throughout the customer journey from awareness through close Pivotal newsletter: produce the monthly newsletter to promote events, drive website traffic, and build the brand story Data analytics and insights: using our CRM and financial tools, understand performance and value of all marketing programs, recommending improvements based on learnings and insight Conversion model: build a model to measure key conversion points based on funnel data, use A/B testing to find the most effective levers, and find systematic ways to shorten the sales journey Marketing communications: create event booths and materials, executive presentations, one-pagers, and web copy Paid media: Direct and measure performance of paid media campaigns, optimizing marketing spend within paid media and across other channels KPI reporting: summarize marketing performance by defining and producing KPIs in the following areas: 1. Web traffic, engagement, and conversion
2. Funnel development: subscribers, leads, MQLs, SQLs, deposits
3. Email performance and health
4. ROI analysis
