Position Overview
The Customer Service Associate position offers the chance to gain insights into the core functions of customer service while delivering support to both internal and external customers. The role involves direct interaction with our internal Regional Sales Managers and our external Dealer Network. This key position on our Customer Experience team provides an excellent opportunity to become part of the dynamic team at Godfrey and Hurricane.
Essential Job Functions
Customer Support:
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to warranty or aftermarket coverage or quoting.
Communication:
Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate the warranty process and ensure timely resolution of claim or quote requests.
Sales and Distribution:
Participate in the sales process for aftermarket parts, including order processing, inventory management, and delivery coordination as needed.
Compliance:
Ensure all warranty claims comply with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
Training:
Educate customers and dealership staff on warranty & aftermarket policies and procedures.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of all warranty claims, including approvals, denials, and follow-ups.
Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and stay competitive.
Requirements
Strong customer service skills
Strong data entry skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
Team oriented
Detail oriented
Available for OT
Ability to deal with high stress situations
Other Skills/Abilities
Cross training for other department positions
PPE Requirements
Safety glasses & shoes (only on production floor)
