This position will be responsible to lead casework and countertop projects from start to finish, primarily in the Multifamily and Hospitality sectors. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership skills, a sharp attention to detail, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, and changes in a timely and professional manner. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and other stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration. Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Review drawings and specifications; have a thorough understanding of the scope of work and perform take-offs when needed. Maintain data in Innergy, including Projects, Work Orders and Change Orders. Work with internal team and suppliers to ensure that the scope of work specific to each project is completed in a timely manner. Compile and review Submittals and Shop Drawings. Complete and maintain all Supplier Purchase Orders. Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and critical milestones, ensuring all project deliverables meet or exceed expectations. Resolve conflicts, clear up assumptions, and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track. Manage relationships with installation subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards. Oversee change orders and ensure all project adjustments are properly documented and communicated to all stakeholders. Conduct field measurements and participate in site visits to monitor project progress. Work closely with the Project Controller to manage billing, track costs, and ensure projects are completed within budget. Provide the necessary warranty and close out documents Create Agenda and Distribute meeting minutes to each project team after meetings. Performs other duties as required. 3-5 years of project management experience in casework. Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Estimating casework and countertop projects. Proficiency in 2020 for completing shop drawings is preferred. Solid understanding of casework, including project delivery methods and construction processes. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam; familiarity with project management software is a plus. Must be able to collaborate effectively with vendors, and team, and possess strong relationship development/management skills. Conflict management/resolution and negotiation/persuasion skills critical. Knowledge and experience in product and architectural drawings. Possess strong written and verbal skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively in a high volume, high pace environment Must demonstrate skills and be able to work as team and cooperation of the staff and construction personnel Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam; familiarity with project management software is a plus. Possess familiarity with various construction delivery methods and budget terms. Typical Mental Demands:
Able to analyze and organize work assignments Good command of the English language and be able to proofread work Detailed, organized and communicative Understanding, yet persuasive and decisive when dealing with others within and outside the organization Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks Task and goal-oriented and capable of functioning in an entrepreneurial and corporate setting Able to prioritize workflow and multi-task Physical Requirements
Sitting for extended periods - Regularly Standing and/or Walking - Rarely Bending, Stooping, Reaching and Stretching - Rarely Lifting and/or Pushing minimum 40 lbs. - Rarely Loud noise for extended periods - Rarely Seeing: depth perception & color vision - Frequently
Working Conditions:
Primarily working inside temperature-controlled building. Generally well-lit. May be expected to walk project sites and be exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is typically low.
