Our client, a global leader in biotechnology and genetic sequencing, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Engineering team supporting calibration and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork, and a proactive problem-solving mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Madison, WI (On-site)
Pay Range: $17.75 - $22.25/hour
What's the Job?
Schedule and perform calibration and maintenance on lab, pilot plant, and manufacturing equipment
Document all calibration and maintenance activities accurately
Collaborate with cross-functional and third-party teams to resolve equipment issues
Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO13485, and GLP standards
Participate in continuous improvement projects and process enhancements
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's Degree preferred)
1+ years of experience in equipment calibration and maintenance (entry-level with relevant degree accepted)
Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, or ISO13485 environments
Comfortable using ticket-based equipment management systems
Strong written documentation and team collaboration skills
