Locums - Marquette, Michigan GastroenterologistClinical Role:
  • Full block coverage required; partial availability not accepted
  • Responsible for all charting and patient follow-up communication
  • Well-established, accomplished Endoscopy Unit team
  • Referral fees available for qualified candidates
Availability / Schedule:
  • Orientation: 9/23
  • Assignment Dates: 9/24 (7 AM) - 10/1 (7 AM)
  • Weekday Shifts: Mon-Fri, 9-hour shifts (1-hour lunch, 8 hours billable) + 15-hour overnight call
  • Weekend Call: 24-hour call
  • Call Response Time: 20 minutes
  • Call Type: Beeper
  • Call Ratio: On call entire assignment
Procedures / Responsibilities:
  • EGD, Colonoscopy, pH Studies, Manometry, Sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J Tube Placement
  • ERCP / EUS - Preferred
  • Hydrogen Breath Testing, Capsule Endoscopy
  • Propofol administration
  • Average 12 patients per day (procedures), less inpatient rounding
  • Assigned / Unassigned Rounding Patients
Practice / Facility:
  • EMR: Athena & Cerner / Paragon & EndoPro
  • Endo Suites: 4 procedure rooms
Licenses / Certifications:
  • Board Certified - REQUIRED
  • MI License - REQUIRED
  • Fellowship - Preferred
  • ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS - REQUIRED
  • Trauma Level II
