Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Coverage Needed:

• Primarily night coverage (7p-7a) to cover 4-6 shifts per month
• Occasional day shifts: 7a-7p, 9a-9p
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 4

Clinical Details:

• Wide variety of ED patients with a focus on lower acuity patients
• Perform some administrative tasks (radiology review, blood work review)
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: Physician present at night, trauma service, and various specialties on call
• Stroke Certified facilities

Requirements:

• Board Certified PA
• Active Pennsylvania license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA or Red Cross), Stroke Certified
• NIHSS and Stroke CME must be current annually
• EMTALA education mandatory
• Must be willing to work night shifts
• Must be local enough to drive in
