- Conduct retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit.
- Perform endoscopic retrieval and chest tube insertions.
- Assist as first assist in cardiac surgery.
- Round on patients and coordinate care.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses.
- Order and interpret tests and write prescriptions.
- Remove sutures.
- NCCPA Certification
- New Jersey License
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, including proficiency in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PA-C
- Varied weekday, weekend, and night call shifts
- Proficiency in surgical procedures, specifically related to cardiothoracic operations.
- Experience in inpatient care and the ability to handle fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with the Cerner documentation system.
- Strong diagnostic and patient management skills.
