Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team and lead all financial aspects of our growing technology company. The ideal candidate will combine strategic financial leadership with hands-on operational experience, particularly in scaling technology companies and managing public company financial operations. This is an end-to-end role that requires a high degree of hands-on involvement in both preparation and review of Company’s books.

Must Haves:

  • Active CPA license
  • 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • Open to Director, VP, CFO levels of leadership
  • Demonstrated experience with SEC reporting and public company financial operations. End-to-end financial reporting cycle experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.
  • Experience working for a start-up or passion for being a part of this type of environment.
  • Experience in technology or transportation industry preferred.
  • Strong track record of scaling financial operations in high-growth environments.
  • Excellence in strategic planning, financial modeling, and analytics.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills.

Plusses:

  • Prior experience in mobility as a service, autonomous vehicle or transportation technology sector.
  • Experience with M&A transactions and integration
  • Background in raising capital through public or private markets
  • Knowledge of subscription-based business models
  • Experience with international operations and reporting

D2D:

  • Direct all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, and tax.
  • Oversee all aspects of SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, and other filings) to ensure accuracy and compliance with SEC regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare financial statements, Company’s accounting policies and financial statement disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
  • Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy and capital structure.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and SOX compliance.
  • Optimize financial processes to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage relationships with investors, board members, auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Support investor relations with financial data, earnings preparation, and disclosures.
  • Drive financial systems implementation and optimization.
  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Partner with other executives to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
  • Oversee risk management and internal controls.
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and other core financial workflows.
