Overview
Seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to manage the company's cloud architecture, implementation, and positioning within cloud environments. This strategic and hands-on role involves migrating to and maintaining all cloud systems, including front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.

Responsibilities
- Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adoption process.
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
- Develop and organize cloud systems.
- Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of cloud governance, security operations, and implementations.
- Respond to technical issues professionally and promptly.
- Identify optimal cloud architecture solutions to meet strategic company needs.
- Develop migration and implementation roadmaps after analyzing existing service catalogs.
- Provide guidance on infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers and migrations into the cloud.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent degree and/or experience.
- 10+ years of industry experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with Google Cloud and 3+ years with AWS or Azure.
- Deep knowledge of build delivery engineering and hands-on experience with automation tools.
- Experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Data Store, Cloud Storage.
- Familiarity with Cloud Bigtable, BigQuery.
- Experience with cloud computing concepts like VPC, DNS, CDN, Load Balancing, and Auto Scaling.
- Basic understanding of Security and IAM on GCP; knowledge of StackDriver (Monitoring, Logging, Debugging, Tracing).
- Google and AWS certifications are a plus.
