Description Boulder County Information Technology Department is seeking to hire a
Project Manager . The Project Manager is a journey level classification in the project management series. The Project Manager assists elected officials and department heads (EODH) with their projects and provides the core services required to successfully complete IT-related projects or special projects.

Monday - Friday
8:00am - 4:30pm . This position will work
remotely
and will be based out of
2025 14th Street , Boulder, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is
exempt .
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range : $101,868.00 - $124,296.00 Annually

80-hour bank

Examples of Duties
Manages the project initiation, project planning, project execution and project closure of assigned project(s) Anticipates, resolves, escalates, and documents project risks, issues, and changes Provides leadership by coordinating all aspects of the project(s) and ensuring all team members are working cohesively toward common goals and milestones Develops and maintains productive working relationships with project team members including internal customers, and third-party vendors Coordinates and schedules appropriate resources to perform tasks Develops and maintains project documentation in accordance with Project Management Office (PMO) standards Develops and leads change management activities and communications on projects Plans and facilitates project closure activities with a focus on celebrating successes and recognizing team contributions Offers continuous improvement recommendations to help strengthen the PMO overall approach, tools, and team processes Performs related work, as required May be reassigned during emergency situations
