Job Description Required Education: • Bachelor's degree in earth science, horticulture, geology, forestry, natural resources or another related field or equivalent experience

A Day in the Life of This Role: • Work with our primary capital scheduler and coordinate multiple tree crews' schedules to complete work. • Use QuickBase as the primary program, along with Maximo, OMS, and Outlook. • Review and prioritize tree job requests. • Monitor crew progress to ensure work meets client standards and specifications. • Update internal work orders with accurate accounting strings for project tracking, correcting as needed. • Communicate with schedulers and team members to resolve conflicts or address urgent priorities. • Provide updates to the hiring manager and team on crew productivity and project status.

Interaction Level with Team Members and Hiring Manager: • Daily interaction. Specifically with our other schedulers. • Regular check-ins with the hiring manager to report progress and align on priorities. • Occasional interaction with tree crews and other departments to clarify job details or resolve issues.

Top Priority for the Worker (First Few Weeks/Months): • Learn how to schedule contract tree crews and manage routes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Biggest Challenge in This Role: • Managing the high number of tree job requests and identifying and managing priority to complete work timely.

Key Responsibilities: • Plans, organizes, and oversees vegetation clearance activities. • Prioritizes work in accordance with department strategy. • Schedules contract tree crews. • Expert skills in reading and understanding company design jobs and sketches. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Ensures contract tree crew performance meets Client standards and specifications. • Continually analyzes crew productivity to ensure Client is receiving benefits relative to statement of work. • Ensures internal work orders have correct accounting strings in place for proper project tracking. • Makes corrections where necessary. • Notifies the applicable department when accounting exceptions need to be addressed. • Performs departmental forecasting and reporting related activities and communicates suggestions and process improvements based on findings.
