This role involves developing scalable data solutions using Spark, Scala, and Big Data technologies while collaborating with business teams to align technical implementations with functional needs.
Rate Range:
$55/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Design and implement scalable data processing solutions using Spark, Scala, and Hadoop ecosystems. Optimize and manage data pipelines and system integrations, ensuring high performance and reliability. Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, collaborating with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Conduct system testing and deliver user training, supporting smooth deployment and adoption of solutions. Utilize tools like Kafka, Cassandra, and SQL to build real-time and batch data processing workflows. Support automation and cloud integration efforts, with a preference for experience in AWS, Python, and Unix shell scripting. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years in Big Data development with hands-on experience in Spark and Scala. Strong proficiency in Spark, Scala, SQL (basic and advanced), Kafka, and Cassandra for building scalable data solutions. Pay Details:
$55.00 to $60.00 per hour
