Job Summary The Product Specialist will provide product management support for Vertiv's Power Management Business Unit offering through utilization of product and business knowledge. The role will provide direct input to the Regional Product Management Team for the Americas by maintaining current business and market metrics and developing effective methods to communicate trends and changes in the market and the business. A potential candidate should be inquisitive and driven to understand the various activities impacting performance. This role will have direct interaction with Regional Product Managers in Power Management and AMER's Sales Data & Analytics team. This role will provide a candidate with a strong foundation in the Vertiv business and critical infrastructure markets and development opportunities in Product Management. Responsibilities Gain deep insight into the market and business trends and evaluation of Vertiv current business results. Develop and maintain informative dashboards utilizing Power BI analytical tool. Provide critical support to the regional product management team by providing business insights. Consolidate and review weekly/monthly business results and outlook taking into consideration Sales, Orders, Pipeline, Win/Loss and other related information. Research market trends, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Track and provide trend analysis, outliers and key insights to the Regional Product Management Team. Preparing data-driven weekly, monthly, and quarterly presentations for performance tracking and strategic reviews. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Electrical Engineering preferred 2+ years of product management, business/data analyst or similar role experience Proficiency in Data Analysis tools such as Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots) Experience in Power BI dashboard development is preferred Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights Demonstrated competence in visual and verbal communication, problem-solving, & project management Proficiency in Oracle tools (EBS, CRM, CPQ) is preferred Fluency in modeling languages such as Python or R is preferred Positive, goal-oriented, data-driven, and reliable with strong attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and other business applications Strong written and oral communication in English and presentations skills Physical and Environmental Demands None Travel Required Up to 10% as needed The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
