Brief Job Description: The Product Manager, DC Power Engineering- Americas is responsiblefor providing product management leadership in the Americas region (USA, Canada, and the LATAM) to drive growth and profitability of Vertiv’s DC Power Product Line in Telecom and Datacenter verticals. The Product Manager will manage the DC Powerproduct and service solutions to best serve the customers in the Americas region. Key activities include launching new products and services, managing the existing portfolio of products and services, and executing end-of-life for production and service. This role also requires regular collaboration and alignment with Americas Sales and Services, Americas Sales Operations, Americas Finance, and the Global Business Unit regarding orders, sales, pipeline, and other key financial metrics related to the product Line. The position will be based onsite at our Delaware, OH location. Responsibilities: Serve as Regional Lead for product launches and full product lifecycle management, applying engineering principles to oversee development, validation, and commercialization activities. Interpret complex market trends, customer technical requirements, and competitive technologies to inform and refine the product roadmap. Utilize engineering analysis and cost modeling to identify margin improvement opportunities and enhance product profitability. Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Unit leadership, Finance, Sales, and Sales Operations to develop technically sound pricing strategies. Ensure all technical documentation, customer-facing materials, and marketing tools are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product specifications. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies or product quality issues and applying structured engineering methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, root cause analysis). Gather and analyze customer feedback and performance data to guide product enhancements and ensure regional alignment with the global product strategy. Develop and monitor technical and commercial KPIs for new product launches, including sales trends, order volume, pipeline health, and quote-to-win ratio. Support long-term strategic planning for the Americas Region by contributing engineering insights to cross-functional strategy development and deployment efforts. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or other related discipline. Electrical Engineering is preferred 5+ years relevant experience in product management, technical/product sales, business management Experience in Telecom and/or Datacenter DC Power solutions and related customers preferred Experience with engaging Sales and Channel partners in Americas including LATAM preferred Strong customer and business acumen and ability to act as the CEO for the product line Strong organizational skills with an ability to combine long-term and short-term goals by setting priorities Ability to quickly develop cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives Technical expertise to translate stakeholder needs/pain points to solutions Language skills: fluent in English, written and verbal required. Spanish preferred but not required.
