Provider Support:
Coordinating and collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and specialists to ensure optimal patient care. Conduct tests and procedures as directed, such as EKGs, non-stress tests, spirometer, venipunctures, skin punctures, strep screen, glucometer, and blood tests, and urine tests. Communicate to physician abnormal lab results. Assist health service providers with treatments and examinations of patients such as injections, wound care, pelvic exams, minor surgery, and IUD insertions; assist in the identification of psychosocial needs and consult with the health service provider. Transcribe doctors' orders and prepare appropriate requisitions, forms, and calls to pharmacy. Daily follow up of pharmacy messages. Ensure assigned provider(s) signs charts, labs, prescriptions, diagnostics daily. Clinic Support:
Clean and sterilize equipment, restock patient rooms and labs with appropriate supplies. Maintain medical supply inventory to ensure stock. Assist the practice team by answering incoming/outgoing phone calls. Review pharmacy voicemails and other calls before leaving each day. Participate in comprehensive training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge. Foster culture of open communication, teamwork, and collaboration among staff members to ensure efficient clinic operations. Comply with office policy and procedure, OSHA Standards and HIPAA Privacy Regulations as stated in HIPAA Policy and Procedure Manual. Patient Experience:
Welcome patients into the office, creating a warm and friendly experience. Assist with completion of medical records & history forms, filing accordingly. Perform height, weight, vital sign and vision tests, recording them within the eHR system (eClinicalWorks [eCW]); identify chief complaints and record observations. Perform triage as soon as chart is ready. Maintain patient flow after check-in; ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner Communicate courteously, timely, and respectfully with all patients; notify patient of any changes ordered by their providers, and any new information is provided in writing before leaving the clinic. Document all phone calls with patients. Provide telephonic care support to patients, including collaborating with medical providers to conduct patient assessments and triage calls to determine the nature of the patients' concerns and level of urgency. Follow-up with patients post-appointment, especially walk-ins, urgent care, and Transitional Care Management (TCM) patients. -Overview of responsibilities (day-to-day, metrics, etc):

1+ year experience preferred
