PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Take care of intermittent tasks such as supplying material at workstations. (Carts moving coordination, from Fabrication to assembly including virtual cart management on MES) Perform daily walk through the value stream with Team Lead. Provide support by knowing all the jobs performed on the line so he can relief work or help workers who need assistance or are falling behind schedule. (Keep pace) Knowledge on MES and manufacturing systems to train, guide and answer questions from value stream employees concerning job related daily activities or other problems that may occur. More difficult issues may be directed to Value Stream Supervisor. Follow, control & coordinate the abnormal conditions on the line related to skips or remakes May be trained in the use of heavy equipment such as forklift in preparation for certification as required to move to a Freight Handler role. Ensures full adherence to safety, quality, 5's, practicing every time. (May sweep floors, clean dock area, general good hygiene of entire work area). Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member on the VS understands the standards and the behaviors expected of them. Use standardized work to follow his work & comply with safety and quality requirements. Willingness to seek out additional roles and responsibilities within your department and expand knowledge regarding Andersen's products. Participate in on-the-job training initiatives and transfer skills learned into daily work. Highly disciplined to punctuality release materials in designated stations, and be at the top of the production plan to support operation efforts. Maintain a positive attitude, promote, and engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together, actively committed to team development. Ability to lead by example, promote AMS principles and communicate with clarity. The four primary areas of responsibility are, Carts move and administration, Skips / Remakes solution, Support associates on to be on pace and schedule attainment. MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS: Desire to learn skills on the job in a fast-paced environment and willingness to cross-train on several operations within the value stream Ability to lift up to 50 lbs over the shoulder level Ability to occasionally push/pull up to 100 lbs Ability to stand/walk for duration of shift Willingness to cross-train on several operations within your department Must possess problem solving, communication, teamwork and leadership skills Dependability and punctuality Ability to demonstrate competency in safety, quality, initiative, teamwork, training, attitude and attendance CULTURE AND BENEFITS: "Be Orange.
