5:00 PM Worksite: Local Educational Institution We are seeking a dependable, hard-working Irrigation System Installer and Maintenance Technician to support both indoor and outdoor property maintenance for a respected educational institution in Jackson, MS. In this full-time position, you'll be responsible for the design, installation, repair, and upkeep of irrigation systems, as well as maintaining grounds, landscaping, and property cleanliness. This role is perfect for candidates who take pride in outdoor work, equipment operation, and maintaining beautiful, safe environments. Weekly pay, steady hours, and meaningful work await! Key Responsibilities Irrigation System Installation & Maintenance Design and install new irrigation systems tailored to property needs Inspect and repair existing irrigation systems (sprinklers, valves, timers, etc.) Diagnose system malfunctions and perform hands-on repairs Ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, trees, and plant beds Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules based on weather and seasonal needs Groundskeeping & Landscaping Mow, edge, fertilize, and water lawns on a regular schedule Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, flowerbeds, and other greenery Maintain walkways, driveways, patios, and hardscape areas Remove litter, debris, and hazards from grounds Property & Building Maintenance Clean and maintain common areas, windows, and other surfaces Inspect and support basic upkeep of indoor/outdoor fire safety systems Assist with general repairs or maintenance duties around the property as needed Monitor grounds for safety hazards and report or resolve them promptly Requirements 1+ year experience with irrigation systems (installation or repair) preferred Basic knowledge of landscaping, groundskeeping, or general property maintenance Ability to operate tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow maintenance schedules Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
