** Hours are Monday-Friday 6AM-3PM**Depending on Business Needs**
**Hourly pay starting at $25.00/hr**
JOB SUMMARY
The CDL/Box Truck Driver- Class A is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers using both Class A vehicles and box trucks. This role is key to maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellent service, ensuring that goods reach their destinations efficiently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Safely operate Class A vehicles and box trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety procedures. Efficiently load and unload cargo, ensuring safety and integrity of goods. Conduct pre-trip inspections, refuel, clean vehicles, and report any mechanical issues to maintenance staff. Immediately report any road incidents to the dispatcher or supervisor. Maintain accurate logs of driving activity, cargo records, and compliance with electronic logging devices (ELD units). Ensure that goods are delivered on schedule to meet customer expectations. Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude during customer interactions. Other duties as assigned. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Adherence to safety guidelines and traffic laws Accuracy of cargo and log records Customer satisfaction and timeliness of deliveries Timeliness and effectiveness of completing assigned tasks QUALIFICATIONS
Class A CDL is required At least 1 year of experience driving a box/pup truck Must have a valid medical examiner card Clean MVR report for the last 3 years High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) WORKING CONDITIONS
Driving in various traffic and weather conditions Loading and unloading goods of varying sizes and weights Predominantly outdoor work in various weather conditions This position is physically demanding and involves working in a production environment Uneven surfaces, up and down ramps, stairs BENEFITS
