The 4th Shift: Friday-Sunday 7am

7pm What You Will Do Work with production control to create a week-by-week schedule and assign operators accordingly to meet it Work with QE's & ME's to improve processes within the cell in order to improve efficiency/eliminate rework/scrap Work with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift supervisors on priorities and needs Establish recovery plans where necessary in enough time to recover daily / weekly misses before they impact the month/quarter Roll-up, consolidate, speak to overall cell results (control tower ownership) Ensure robust root cause and corrective actions (DAISE) for any major monthly misses (red metrics) at the Cell Control Tower levels Manage the site operations with limited support on 4th shift. People Responsible for communicating, training, guidance, and counsel of hourly associates to ensure the cell actively supports Continuous Improvement strategies, methodologies, and philosophies (5S, Flow, Ahead/Behind

visual management, SWIP management, Line Back Logistics, Product / Process Family definition, etc.) Direct the activities of operators, including training, performance appraisals, discipline, safety, communications, and opportunity resolution. Drive ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Escalate site-impacting issues to associated support staff to ensure communication and resolution Lean Transformation Partner with CORE / CI to support the site transformation journey; support the transformation roadmap. Create/align cells through product/process family alignment IAW defined plans. Implement JIT/JIS Materials Management philosophy. Ensure the cell implements and operates 'daily' to the 6 principles of Ops Management Adhere to Standard Work (Time based standard work for all functions) Use Closed Loop Systems (corrective actions) for all losses Positively affect performance metrics including, but not limited to: Output Hours On Time Delivery Inventory (WIP)(SWIP to WIP ratio approaching 1) Lead Time (Days to Manufacture) decreases. Productivity / Efficiency / Utilization / OEE increases. Yield / Process Capability increases. Schedule Stabilization improvement Safety (First Aid, recordables, lost time) SRR (scrap, rework and repair) Lead special projects as needed. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience 4 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace 3 or more years of experience in Operations related Management roles (hands on supervision) Demonstrated technical knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining/special processing/assembly) Strong facilitation, presentation skills with strong verbal and written communication skills Strong Core Values including Ethical Behavior, Customer Focused Improvement, Accountability & Teamwork, Openness & Trust Experience leading cross-functional teams Qualifications We Prefer SAP knowledge Lean Manufacturing Experience Direct working experience of the Troy W&B Site / Products. We are looking for the best and brightest to fly and land with us! The salary range for this role is $82,000 - $164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
