Wire Harness Assembly Technician
We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Assembly Technician to join our team in developing wire harnesses for new products. This role involves working closely with the development team to improve processes and create efficient wire harnesses. The technician will be responsible for following technical instructions, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality production. Responsibilities
Assemble wire harnesses according to technical specifications, including connecting wires, cables, and connectors. Inspect completed wire harnesses for quality and adherence to safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, including part numbers and quantities. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to meet production goals and improve processes. Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Construct components, subunits, or simple models following specific layouts and diagrams. Conduct tests or experiments, modifying setups or procedures as needed. Extract and compile engineering data from various sources, identify errors, and present data. Assist in design modifications by compiling relevant data related to design and specifications. Perform assignments independently, with occasional guidance from supervisors or engineers. Essential Skills
Experience in building wire harnesses and wire processing, including cutting, soldering, crimping, and stripping. Proficiency in reading schematics and using a multi-meter. Knowledge of soldering techniques. Ability to interpret blueprints and radio frequency specifications. Why Work Here?

The work environment is climate-controlled and very clean. The role is part of a small team consisting of 10 technicians, a manager, and a supervisor, reporting to two production managers. The position operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, and may require occasional overtime. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanahan, South Carolina. Pay and Benefits
