About Saint Joseph's University: A dynamic and academically rigorous institution, Saint Joseph's University, Hawk Hill (Philadelphia) is a private, accredited, university focusing exclusively on the field of health care. The School of Nursing and Allied Health at Saint Joseph's University's Hawk Hill campus (Philadelphia) invites applications for Clinical Practitioner Educators (adjunct clinical instructors) for our new four year baccalaureate nursing program. Instruction may include teaching in direct care, laboratory, and simulation environments. We are currently seeking applicants with current clinical and teaching experience in foundational, adult health, and gerontological nursing. About the Undergraduate Nursing Programs: Nursing curriculum lays the groundwork for the College's academic programs. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) recognizes the level of care and compassion it takes to be a nurse. This is reflected in the programs' low student to faculty ratio within the clinical setting. The BSN program offers hands-on learning at the University's clinical affiliates, Penn Medicine Health and Main Line Health, as well as neighboring facilities. Students are exposed to a variety of clinical settings, including medical-surgical, critical care, pediatrics, obstetrics, mental health, community health, physician offices, home health and others, allowing students to learn the area in which they want to specialize. Student learning is also facilitated with our educational partner, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) within their state-of-the-art simulation labs. Experience in the simulation labs allows students the opportunity to witness firsthand a variety of scenarios that they may or may not see in an actual clinical setting. Accreditation The BSN Program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with ability to license in New Jersey and Delaware Minimum of two years recent clinical nursing experience in area of selected specialty Successful completion of all clearance and compliance requirements Proof of Covid Vaccination is required by all clinical affiliates Preferred: Doctoral degree preferred.
